1. Access & permissions
Follow the steps from the invitation e-mail to activate and set up your account. Did you not receive an activation mail? Contact your supervisor / contact person for OGSM Software. Use your password and username / your e-mail address to log in via https://login.ogsmsoftware.com/
You can change your personal settings via your name at the top right → My settings. If you click on the OGSM Software logo via the menu at the top left you will always return to the OGSM page.
OGSM Software has three different user roles.
Admin: can see and edit everything
Manager: can edit and add elements freely. Cannot invite new users or set user rights.
User: can only edit elements he/she is owner of. They cannot add anything.
A Manager can also be made OGSM Owner. If an user is an OGSM Owner he/she has Admin rights for this specific OGSM.
2. Creating your OGSM
Split goals in sub KPI’s by adding sub KPI’s that directly effect the Goal. Or select these existing goals or dashboard measures by clicking the “select” button and selecting from the list the KPIs that are directly part of / directly effect the Goal.
Click on the plus sign to add a new strategy. Click on the red trash can to delete the strategy and on the yellow pencil to edit it. Or you can edit the text in the screen by clicking on it.
Fill in the fields. The owner responsible for this strategy, indicates the status and receives the updates regarding this strategy. By opening Dashboard measures or Actions via the arrow you can add measures / actions, edit and see the status.
Adding, editing and deleting works the same as with strategies. But if you click on the yellow pencil, the “Graph” or “Details” pop-up opens. This depends on the values entered so far. You can switch between these pages via the tabs:
State whether it is a what or a how measurement. Enter the start and end date and corresponding values. The graph is generared based on this values. Enter the measurement period and update frequency. Based on this, the owner receives an automatic request to update the status.
The graph shows the actual progress (based on entered values) and the forecast (based on start / end date). You can see the entered values via the arrow and enter a new value (progress) manually.
Yes! You can activate the option to add risk to your actions via the “MENU” button in the top left. Then click on ‘Administration’ → ‘Workplace settings’ → ‘Workplace settings’ → other. Check the “OGSM contains Risks” option. Open the action where the risk applies. Scroll all the way down in the action format. The “Risks” function button is now displayed at the bottom. Click on this “Risks” button and add the desired content.

3. Managing the OGSM
No in your settings you can enable the email updates for all items allocated to you in one go. (see “User settings in the user guide)
